Multilingual Support for POIs

For points of interest, you can similarly customize for the language-dependent content:

• Create an English POI and save it

• Then change your language settings to “Francais”

• Edit your English POI by clicking on the pencil icon next to it

• Start enterings its French version content, when done click “Update”

Notice, as you change the language selector, the UUID stays the same for the POI: there is only one underlying point of interest, with one or more language versions defined for it.

Note: While you can choose not to create a French version of your POI, there is no way to avoid creation of its English counterpart. If you create a new POI when the language selector is not in English, an English version is created with empty text fields.. And hence we recommend that you  create the English version first, then create the additional languages later.
