Here is a brief tutorial showing you how to create a 360° photo in Kuula, and import it into Driftscape.

  • Signup at the Kuula website for a free trial account:

https://kuula.co/register

  • On your phone, create a very wide panoramic image (png or jpg) with maximum rotation, like this:

  • In Kuula, from the menu icon, select ‘Upload - Single image’

  • Upload the panoramic image you created. You should use a very high resolution photo, to get the best possible virtual photo.

  • From the Menu, choose ‘Profile - My photos’

  • Click on the photo you uploaded in the photo list, then tap the pencil icon to edit the photo:

  • Scroll down to the ‘Vertical alignment’ setting. The default is a ‘spherical’ top view, which is not the best option for an uploaded panoramic photo. Set the option to a more horizontal view:

  • Change other settings as required.

  • Close the edit view, and return to the photo list view. Click on the three dots for the photo, and select ‘Share’:

  • Click on the ‘Get link or embed code’ button, and then click the Link tab:

  • Change the settings as required, then copy the displayed link URL.
