Reporting a Bug

As with any tech solution, you may occasionally encounter unexpected behavior in the app. When this happens, it’s important to report the issue so we can investigate and implement a fix as soon as possible.



Get Started: Steps to Reporting a Bug

Step 1: Access the Settings Menu

Tap the three horizontal bars/lines in the top left corner of the app.


Select ‘Settings.’


Step 2: Generate the Bug Report

Quickly tap the version number a few times. This will automatically generate a bug report.


Select the on-screen option to send this bug report via ‘Email’ and then choose your preferred email service.


The default email address will already be in place.  But before you send, be sure to add support@driftscape.com in the ‘CC’ address area so your Customer Success representative can track the bug report for you.


Step 3: Provide Essential Details

Before sending your bug report email, include the following information:

  • A clear description of the problem.

  • The steps you took in the app leading up to the issue.

  • The device you’re using.

  • The OS version (found in Apple Settings > General > About > Version).

  • The Driftscape app version (found in Settings at the bottom of the screen).
